Why Nicotine E-Cigarettes Are Proving More Effective in Helping Smokers Quit
A Cochrane Review found high-certainty evidence that nicotine-containing e-cigarettes are more effective at helping people quit smoking compared to traditional nicotine replacement therapies like patches or gum. In this study, e-cigarettes increased the number of people successfully quitting smoking over six months by about 2–6% more than other methods.
